For as long as I can remember, baking has been a massive part of family life for me. From baking with my Grandma and creating our own new and exciting recipes, to now baking with my children. There's something special about making something delicious through hard work, creativity and love; It always tastes better homemade!​The Choowee Cookie Company was born in 2019 after I made a batch of cookies for my work colleagues. At the same time I was desperately trying to save, to take our children to Disney World, Florida; however I knew that the challenge of saving enough money within the near future would be difficult; until someone said "You should sell these!". ​So in my spare time I would bake and sell at small local events and deliver around our small town. The pennies went straight into a savings account ready for that special day when we would be able to book Disney!​Fast forward 3 years, a global pandemic, a second baby and here I am. The Choowee Cookie Company is now my full time job. I'm not Mr Kipling by any stretch of the imagination, however my small business is providing us with a modest income and our dream to get to Disney gets closer every month.​We couldn't be where we are today without the support and kindness of our local community. Something we never take for granted and we will always remember that, so thank you!​​
